OnWav is a privately-held Fixed Wireless Broadband Internet Service Provider based in Cookeville, Tennessee, and was formed as a corporation specifically to develop and deliver next generation telecommunications services such as wireless broadband Internet access, voice over Internet protocol, wireless video surveillance, public safety/first responder solutions, etc. throughout Tennessee. The OnWav network also supports wireless redundancy solutions to current wireline offerings, point to point data connections within the OnWav service area, and will roll out future Internet Protocol services as the industry develops standards (look for Internet Protocol Television Broadcasting within the next couple of years).
